Building Faceted Vessels (3 people)

In this 2-session course, you'll learn how to build faceted vessels using the slab method.
During the first session, we'll discuss the various stages of the clay, slab building methods, and pattern making, before making the first stages of your creations. Participants are encouraged to bring sketches and design ideas to the class.
For the second session, you will finish your vessels, attach any handles, and make them ready for the first firing.

This course does not involve throwing on the wheel.
It is recommended for those who have already tried ceramics, but is accessible to beginners, especially they are already comfortable hand making!

Please contact me prior to booking to find a convenient date. Classes are usually run on Saturday mornings from 10:30am to 1pm, but there is room for flexibility, so please ask if you'd prefer another time.
